JOHANNESBURG - WOMAN RAPED REPEATEDLY IN FRONT OF 10 YEAR OLD SON AFTER BOARDING TAXI ON ONTDEKKERS ROAD

A Johannesburg mother has spoken out about being raped in front of her 10-year-old son.

The mother and child climbed into a taxi on Ontdekkers Road on Sunday morning, reports EWN.

She was then held at gun point and raped inside the taxi.

While the woman was being raped, her 10-year-old son was told to lie on the floor.

The woman says that the incident went on for hours.

The men took her credit card and forced her to reveal her pin.

They withdrew money from her account.

The mother hopes that by speaking out about the incident, it will encourage other victims to also step forward.

“I didn’t like what happened to me and I don’t think any of us is okay with that.”

A case of rape is being investigated.
